World Kidney Day – 12 March 2009

Kids Kidney Research have put together a information pack with a selection of fun and exciting ideas on how to mark this important day.  The pack, which is available to download by clicking here, includes the following information

Parent and Teacher Information Pack – explains why the kidneys are important, how they function and how to keep them healthy.  Includes a selection of links to websites that provide information about specific kidney diseases.

Activities Sheet – a range of children’s activities, ranging from practical water and pressure themed activities, to on-line interactive quizzes and hydration calculators.

Information Sheet – ways that you can support Kids Kidney Research, a charity that funds research into children’s kidney disease
