Kids Kidney Research

Kids Kidney Research was the charity chosen to benefit from the recent London Property Rugby 7's tournament held at Richmond Athletic Ground. 

We are extremely grateful to John Cutts, Chairman of Parkridge Holdings Ltd, for donating a number of prizes, including a salmanazar of Veuve Cliquot (that's a whopping 9 litres) and signed cricket bat, which raised over £2,000 in the raffle.   Congratulations to Alasdair Lochrane who won the champagne! 

The Trustees of Kids Kidney Research were joined by patron Ed Drake and an enthusiastic bunch of helpers who rattled collection buckets and sold programmes at the event, some of them dressed as sumo wrestlers.  In particular we would like to thank Mel Wilkins, who has also run the London Marathon for us this year, for giving up her Sunday to come and help.

The event has raised nearly £40,000 for Kids Kidney Research, which will go towards funding new research into kidney disease in babies and children.
