Kids Kidney Research

Kids Kidney Research are very grateful to Patron, Matthew Amroliwala and Kids Kidney Research supporter and fundraiser Nicola Flynn for sharing their families' experiences of kidney disease with us. 

Matthew's son Louis suffers from Nephrotic Syndrome and was diagnosed about 5 years ago.  A regime of steroid drugs has helped manage Louis' condition and Louis himself is now responsible for testing his urine.

Nicola's daughter Lucy has Juvenile Nephronophthisis, which causes a progressive destruction of both kidneys and means that Lucy will require a transplant at some point.
