| | Dr Richard Trompeter FRCP FRCPCH and Coral Allen, Trustees of Kids Kidney Research, were delighted to present Mark Taylor, President of the BAPN (British Association for Paediatric Nephrology) with a cheque for GBP100,000 on Friday 8 June in London. This represents the initial installment of a total of GBP500,000 pledged by Kids Kidney Research over the next two years. Kids Kidney Research has already provided 50% funding for a project entitled "Long - term tapering versus standard prednisolone therapy for the treatment of the initial episode of childhood nephrotic syndrome: national
multi - centre randomised double blind pilot study ". You can view the research protocol here.
