Bramley CofE Infant School have Kidney Awareness Day |
|
Bramley CofE Infant School held a Kidney Awareness Day on 4 July and raised GBP68 for Kids Kidney Research. The children spent the morning carrying out a range of water based activities, such as filtering dirty water and evaporating salty water, to find out more about kidneys and the role they play. Kids Kidney Research Trustee, Liz Sutherland, was invited to their Assembly to explain how kidneys work and what happens when they become damaged. All the children came to school in mufti and the parents held a coffee morning, which raised GBP58 for Kids Kidney Research. The school has supported Kids Kidney Research in many ways over the last year - Head Teacher, Angela Champness, helped Kids Kidney Research compile the Schools Information Pack for World Kidney Day in March. Thank you from all of us at Kids Kidney Research! |
