Kids Kidney Research

Kids Kidney Research is are pleased to announce that, with immediate effect, we are starting to fund renal projects nationwide, under the guidance of the BAPN (British Association for Paediatric Nephrology).

The BAPN was established to improve the health care of children with kidney disease through research and development, education and organized service delivery.  The UK has a strong track record of kidney research.  However, the climate for undertaking this in children in the UK has been difficult in the last decade.  Better progress in paediatric kidney disease has been seen in Germany and parts of the USA, a challenge and stimulus for change in the UK. 

Kids Kidney Research is proud to be helping to meet this challenge through their association with the BAPN and is looking forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship with the BAPN.  Visit the BAPN website for more information on their activities.
