Kids Kidney Research

There are lots of ways you can raise money for Kids Kidney Research.   The best way to raise money for us, whatever the event, is to set up your own online fundraising page with Justgiving.com.  It's a really quick and easy way to let your family and friends sponsor you.  Visit the Justgiving fundraising tips page for some great fundraising ideas.  You can also download a Kids Kidney Research sponsorship form and fundraising poster to help you fundraise.

Here are some of the fundraising activities people have organised on our behalf - we hope it gives you some inspiration....

• Run the London Marathon   -  Every year, we have several runners in the London Marathon, one of the world's most famous marathons.  Find out more about entering the Marathon and how this year's runners got on by clicking here.
• Complete the challenging Haute Route  A team of four friends trekked from Chamonix to Zermatt, along the Haute Route, to raise money for Kids Kidney Research.  Visit their website to find out how they got on!  
• Wedding List   Our patron, Lucy Davis, of "The Office" and "Shaun of the Dead" fame, and her husband Owain chose to ask their guests to pledge money to Kids Kidney Research in lieu of wedding gifts.  They raised an amazing GBP6,824.24 for which we are very grateful. 
• Charity Challenge Marlene Flannery completed a trek to the home of the Dalai Lama organised by Charity Challenge raising GBP4,589 for Kids Kidney Research in the process!  Charity Challenge organises adventurous overseas challenges and teambuilding experiences, which push you to the limits, whilst raising vital funds for charity.  Current challenges include mountaineering, mountain bike challenges, community challenges, trekking and horse riding.   Read all about Marlene's trip here.   We also have Chantal Manco trekking through Peru for us next year, an event organised by Do it For Charity who also organise loads of exciting adventures both nationally and internationally.  And if you are feeling really daring, why not try a parachute jump, with or without a partner!.
• Golf Day and Coffee Morning Helen and David Carvey organised a Golf Day at The Oxfordshire Golf Club and raised an amazing GBP16,545 for Kids Kidney Research.  Helen raised a further GBP745 by organising a coffee morning.  Thank you to both Helen and David from all at Kids Kidney Research.
• Shop on-line easyfundraising is a shopping directory that features some of your favourite online stores, including Tesco, Marks & Spencer, Amazon, NEXT, Debenhams, John Lewis, Toys’R’Us, HMV and over 400 others. All you have to do is use the links on the easyfundraising site whenever you shop online and, at no extra cost to you, we'll receive a free donation of up to 15% from every purchase you make. It really is that simple!  All you need to do is visit http://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/kkr and when you register, select Kids Kidney Research as the organisation you wish to support. You will be raising funds for us, whilst making purchases you make anyway!
• Search on-line You can now raise funds for Kids Kidney Research when you search the web!
